this article tries to familiarize the reader with those minor areas of sociology that have many capabilities for reading research issues by studying the historical movement and philosophical fields of shaping historical sociology. the article also explains the reasons of obsoleteness of this effective method of recognizing and defining the domination of quantitative strategies over sociology by studying fields and the advent of historical movement and the development of historical sociology. the article further investigates characteristics of natural and social sciences affecting the discipline and introduces the waves of historical sociology
